The Collaboration Manager enables you to check out design files and panels. The tool displays any current locks by other users with information regarding the current operations being carried out. The tool also manages the concurrency control system of Bentley Raceway and Cable Management.

Setting	Description
Node	This field groups resources by the following categories: Design Files - All the design files are identified with a unique GUID. Voltage levels - All equipment associated with a particular voltage level will be identified with a unique node ID.
Description	This field will list the name of the resource. This could be one of the following: Design File Equipment ID Additionally,when a resource has been locked the type of lock will be displayed below the resource name. The possible lock types include: EW - Exclusively Write SW - Shared Write SR - Shared Read PWCheckOut - Checked out using ProjectWise
Lock	This field will display one of the following values: <none> - Indicates that no one has locked the resource. <request> - Indicates that you have requested a lock on the resource and the system will continue to display this value for any resource that you have locked to yourself. BRCM_DB_STATIONID - Displays the value of this variable when the resource has been locked by someone other than yourself.
Action	Displays the name of the feature that was used to lock a particular resource. The possible values include: Cable Manager - Indicates the resource was locked using the Cable Manager. ID Manager - Indicates the resouce was locked using the ID Manager. PW - Indicates the resource was locked using ProjectWise The following image shows an example of a locked resource:
